Performance Appraisal
Performance appraisal is very important for the employees to know the level of their performance and the areas in which they need to improve. Performance counselling is a very useful activity provided both the counsellor and the counselee take it in the right spirit. It helps the employees as well as the organization to identify the areas of weakness and then to formulate strategies to improve the performance. Performance improvement ultimately helps the organization to meet its goals and objectives. Potential appraisal finds out the strength and weaknesses of the employees in relation to their work. It helps the employees to understand their capabilities and then the organization to put the right man in the right job so as to achieve the set targets.
